Octoberfest Practice - Saturday, September 11 - 9:30-11:30am

We'll be practicing acts for Octoberfest on Saturday.  I know many of you have commitments at Dancing on the Bridge so please let me know if you plan on being at practice.  I'll create a practice order to run only those acts that we have the proper people for.  We'll run the show on the 18th.  It's not a problem if you can't be there.  I just want to prepare so we can run an efficient practice.

Driver Clinic

There is a driver clinic and testing next Saturday 9/11/2010 hosted by Chippewa Lake.  The classroom portion is 8-10 AM at the Akron General Health and Wellness Center  and the water portion is at Emerald Lake from 1-4 PM.      I think I have talked to everyone who expressed interest in driving but I wanted send out an email in case I missed someone.   These classes don't happen very often and this one happens to be close to home.  Anyone who wants to be a tested driver needs to have had the USA Water Safety Course  prior to getting their drivers card.  As it stands nobody from our club is going to be tested.   If anyone is interested let Doug P. know ASAP so I can make arrangements to get you in.
